Sharing innovation from across the globe

On Thursday, August 11, 10 visitors from Tan Tock Seng Hospital learned about innovations in health care and new models of care from the successful work within the Happy, Healthy, at Home programme, sharing their own experiences and positive outcomes as leaders of Singapore’s health care system.

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is an acute and specialty care hospital with centres focusing on rehabilitation medicine and communicable diseases. It employs 7,000 people and is the second largest hospital in Singapore.

During the visit, the group toured Frimley Park Hospital, Aldershot Centre for Health and Farnham Centre for Health and learnt about our local integrated care and new models of care system being developed through the Happy, Healthy, at Home programme. The delegation visited Aldershot Centre for Health to hear about positive impacts the Happy, Healthy, at Home programme is having across North East Hampshire and Farnham.

Dr Peter Bibawy, medical director at NHS North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “It is exciting to share our learning and successes with others around the world who are working toward the same goals and share our passion for working with local people to make positive changes within the health and social care system."
