Community ambassadors help to collect patient views

A group of our dedicated ambassadors recently spent a week in Farnham GP surgeries helping patients to complete a short survey which will help us to understand the impact of the Happy, Healthy, at Home programme.

The short survey, which patients completed on an iPad, asked a series of questions focused on four key areas: Health Confidence, Personal Wellbeing, Health Status and Patient Experience.

By asking these questions now, and then again after we have introduced new Happy, Healthy, at Home projects in Farnham, we will be able to assess the impact that projects are having on patients in these practices.

We normally collect around 30 surveys each week – but with the ambassadors helping we managed to get 102 in one week! In fact, this was so successful that we’ve asked the ambassadors to help us again over the coming weeks so we can collect as much data as possible.
